It’s been a busy week of flooring this week. Gone are the carpets and the new oak flooring is slowly taking over the first floor of our house. Two rooms completed and now on to the guest room and landing.

Check out the new bathroom refit. All completed for under £1k!

Some before and after pics of the en-suite makeover. I’ve replaced everything in this room and it’s been a fun journey. I’ve also got a few new skills under the belt.

Progress report on the great slab of ash we purchased. 1/3 of it is now a vanity unit in our daughters en-suite. It’s looking pretty beautiful.

Stay tuned to see what I turn this lovely slab of ash into!

Getting setup for Christmas with the decorations and lights. Keeping nice and warm by the fire fuelled with some chunky oak logs and some Fire Logs from Lekto. 🔥🎄

Welcome to the completed garden office.

Front garden transformation. Check out this amazing budget makeover we finished today. It’s amazing what a few stones, some lavender and a lick of paint can do!

Some great progress on the garden office last week. The walls are now fully insulated, plastered and painted. The floor has been insulated and laminate flooring laid. Skirting installed, some furniture is in and a few plants added. One functional office!
