How to access the SketchUp 3D model

You can open the 3D model on your computer using any web browser.  Simply sign up for a free SketchUp account and load the model.  Here’s how:

How to open this file once downloaded:

1. Unzip your download by right-clicking on it and selecting ‘unzip’ or simply double-click on the zip file.  You should now have a file called: Garden Sofa.skp
2. You will require the free version of Sketchup to open this file.  Go to (https://www.sketchup.com/plans-and-pricing/sketchup-free) and sign up for a free account.
3. Once you’re all set up with the free version of SketchUp, from the Home page select ‘open from device’ and select the unzipped file Garden Sofa.skp

Now you can roam around the 3D drawing and explore all the steps required to build your own garden sofa.
