What I Bring to the Table
It began with a simple desire to create. From an early age, wood was the most accessible material available to me, and it quickly became the foundation of my early projects. What started as basic furniture pieces gradually evolved into more complex builds, including custom speaker enclosures.

In 2016, I built my first dedicated workshop. Over the months and years that followed, I refined my skills and expanded into constructing fully insulated garden offices, studios, and gaming rooms, turning a creative interest into a focused craft.
I combine extensive hands on building experience with formal design education and years of real world problem solving.
With over 20 years of professional handyman and home renovation experience, including more than 8 years specialising in timber frame garden buildings, I bring practical, site-tested knowledge to every project I share.
To date, I have constructed more than 10 garden buildings and countless timber-framed garden structures. I’ve got hands-on experience with fully insulated garden rooms, sheds, workshops, verandas, and pergolas for both clients and my own use. This means the guidance I provide comes from direct experience managing real builds, real budgets, and real-world challenges.

Alongside my practical experience, I hold a Certificate of Higher Education in Interior Design and Interior Architecture, having studied at university level. This academic foundation gives me a strong understanding of structural principles, spatial planning, materials, and functional design, ensuring projects are not only structurally sound but also thoughtfully designed.
In addition to building, I have been creating DIY and garden room content for more than seven years, reaching over 1.8 million views and receiving consistently positive feedback from builders who have successfully used my guides and downloadable plans.
Everything I share is grounded in real experience rather than theory, so you can approach your project with clarity, confidence, and a proven framework.
